With their patented natural cotton blend, Tushies nappies offer parents a gel free choice for their babies, as well as a pretty good performance and the ease they expect from a disposable.
What's more, Tushies nappies are perfume-free, dye-free and latex-free.
Now Tushies disposables feature non-chlorine-bleached wood pulp (patent pending).Legally permitted dioxins, which are known to be carcinogenic, can be left behind in the standard main stream disposable nappy bleaching processes. Although the cotton and other components of Tushies are whitened, the process used is not environmentally harmful. Though this nappy does not claim to be environmentally friendly in any other form as plastics or recyclable or biodegradeable, they are a great gel free alternative nappy.

I have used both Moltex and Wiona nappies which are excellent, but after trying Tushies I cannot recommend them. They are inflexible, and do not absorb urine effectively. When the nappy is wet, the cotton pad bunches up and must be quite uncomfortable for the baby. No good points I am afraid!

I have used Tushies for 4 babies. They may not absorb as well as the leading name brand diapers, but going up a size sooner than recommended helps a lot.
With Tushie's I don't have to worry about chemicals that may be harmful to my baby, or diaper rash from sensitivity to these chemicals.
They may not feel as soft as some diapers, but they are flexible and seem comfortable.
The cotton pad may bunch up if not changed, but a wet diaper is uncomfortable too... simple solution... change your baby when wet. Leaks usually only happen when they are wet in twice.
If you are looking for the most absorbent leak proof diaper, then Tushies are not for you, but if you are looking for the best diaper for your baby nothing beats Tushies.
